Season 2 – Epilogue

This is a summation episode, and I go over what I think are two important elements of the case, as well as discuss my own theory about the man coming in and bothering Janette in the days leading up to her murder.

If you have any information about the murder of Janette Roberson, please contact Det. Sgt. John Forner with the Michigan State Police at 989-775-9302. Or email him at :  FornerJ@michigan.gov

Season 2 Bonus Interview #3 – Forensic Psychologist Scott Johnson

I interview Scott Allen Johnson, Licensed Psychologist, about this case, hoping to get some insight into the type of perpetrator that would commit this crime. He is a forensic consultant and adjunct instructor at Florida Gulf Coast University.
To check out some of Mr. Johnson’s articles, click on the publications link on his website.

Season 2 BONUS Interview Episode #2 – Mark Truman

Mark Truman was a Reed City high school senior in 1983. He was in the Gambles store when Janette was discovered, and he tells what he remembers about that day, as well as discusses Dale, who he was friends with at the time.

VISIT THE Down & Away Facebook group for associated images and case documents, as well as discussion about the case.

Season 2 BONUS Interview #1- A Customer & Sheriff Crawford

I speak with another customer who had been in the store the day of Janette’s murder. We discuss what she saw, as well as current gossip surrounding the investigation.  Also, Sheriff Crawford of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Department tells me what he remembers about dispatch recordings around the time of the murder.

Season 2: Episode 8 – The Tip

This is a shorter than usual episode that strictly goes over a very strange tip I received while researching this case.

Because I am not sure if this is or is not related to the murder, I did not want to add this information to a regular episode, so I did it as a stand-alone.

I am hoping to get more locals who might have seen it to come forward.
